Given the number of cephalopod-themed ponies I've done, it's no secret that I'm rather fond of Phylum Mollusca. So, when Spotted Slug made a call for customs of her persona, one of which involved a Butter Drop, I jumped on the opportunity. With a subject I like and a pony I had a couple of lying around, it seemed a great match, at least from my point of view.

Spotted slug has been rerooted with two different shades of blue hair. Her symbol has been repainted as a spotted slug. It was inspired by a picture of a real slug with spots that I found and liked, though I was unable to discover the species name of the model. I think she's very cute and am very pleased with how she turned out.
